Helping Young Adults Launch Productive Careers
Do you know any young adults (ages 18-40) in your life who have struggled with a “Failure to launch?” They have finished high school, maybe even finished college, but still struggled to know what direction to follow in life. If you have walked with someone in a season like this, you know how complex and painful it can be. A percentage of every dollar you give supports our Flourish Team – they oversee all our local outreach efforts. The Flourish Team has connected several people from CCC with this awesome partner of ours, The Masters Apprentice. This faith-based program has daily devotions, impact of God on students’ and coaches’ lives woven throughout the mentoring that occurs. They have an 80% graduation rate and 90% job placement rate for graduates! This 6-week pre-apprentice program teaches the soft skills needed to obtain a career in the professional construction trades: electrician, plumber, HVAC technician, diesel mechanics, and welders. Approximately 20% are from correctional facility backgrounds. While Centennial does not support MAP financially, we do support it through significant volunteer effort with 4 CCC members coaching regularly. Offers coaching opportunities and opportunities for students from our church to participate in a non-college route to a well-paid career.
