Our Vision

CCC’s Rooted Student Ministry is a vibrant ministry for students in 6th-12th grade. Together we grow and deepen our faith in Jesus to live holistically healthy lives. We do this through meaningful fellowship, fun, worship, serving, and exploring scripture and faith. The key verse for our name, “Rooted,” is Ephesians 3:17 where Paul prays that believers would be “rooted and established in love.” Ultimately, we seek to be rooted in Christ, scripture, community, and love.

Sunday Evening Youth Group

Students 6th-12th grade gather on Sunday evenings 6:00-8:00pm. In the summer, we have most of these at different houses of people in our church – Back Porch Nights! Those nights typically include snacks/food, a devotional by a leader, and some games and activities. You can see the full schedule on our calendar, and then more details in our weekly parent email! If you’re not getting that email, please let me know here and I’ll add you!

Additional Events

We also have a variety of fun events each month, which you’ll see on our calendar and in our weekly email! Some of the bigger events we’ll have are our Student Adventure Day where we’ll go white water rafting, our Student Service Week, and a 12 Hour Rush, which is a Middle School event with other churches in our denomination! Make sure to check out the calendar to see what we have going on this summer!
