Hey Centennial,
This might be a bit of a personal question, but we are going to talk about it on Sunday so here is your warning:
Are you a control freak?
If so, in what areas of life do you most feel the need to be in control?
If you are willing and able to admit this to yourself, and maybe even to others, I have some good news.
You are not alone!
It turns out, trying to control things that are ultimately not under our control is a problem we humans have faced for millennia. This Sunday as we continue our sermon series in the book of Hebrews, Jesus First, we are going to hear about the ways in which one early Christian church tried to control their life’s circumstances. Here is some more good news; not only are you not alone,
There is a solution to this problem.
If you know the weight of trying to control things that are out of your control, make sure to come Sunday to hear about God’s invitation to be free from that burden by putting the control back where it belongs.
