Hey Centennial,
I invite you to gather this Sunday for a celebration of the
WONDER of resurrection.
The tomb is empty! That said, emptiness isn’t always good. Everywhere we look, the world is making promises—promises to heal our brokenness, to satisfy our deepest longings, to make us whole. But if we’re honest, most of those promises feel like a normal empty tomb: hollow, powerless, and unable to deliver what we truly need.
Easter is the day to stop chasing empty promises and instead let us wonder. What if there’s something more? What if the resurrection isn’t just a story, but a truth with the power to transform every kind of brokenness and death into abundance and life?
This Sunday, we wonder together at the resurrection.
There’s something uniquely life-giving about entering that wonder with others, and I don’t want you to miss it.
Bring your questions. Bring your hopes. Bring your neighbor or coworker or friend. Let’s gather and see what happens when we let the wonder of Easter stir our hearts and form our lives.
See you Sunday at 9:00am or 10:30am!
With hope and anticipation,
Karl
P.S. Remember to also come to our Good Friday worship gathering TONIGHT, 6:30-7:30pm. We will experience a traditional Tenebrae Good Friday service. Hearing and reflecting on each of the seven last words of Christ recorded in the gospels, this quiet evening will be a chance to consider deeply the darkness of the death of Christ, which made possible the joyful light of the resurrection.
