As you know, the ministries of CCC impact our church community, the city we live in, and reach around the world. Here is just one example of the way your financial support of CCC makes a difference globally. The story below refers to special giving, but that special giving was possible because of the ongoing ministries supported through your regular support of the CCC general fund:
Centennial Covenant Church showed its generosity and willingness to care for our global family in a special offering this month. $5,764.80 was sent to our partners in the Kenyan Evangelical Covenant Church to help churches there who are receiving refugees from the war-torn Democratic Republic of Congo. The donations will provide food, essential home supplies, medical care and school fees for the refugees.
John Warari, president of the ECCK, immediately sent thanks on behalf of the churches and the recipients and included this picture of a food distribution.
