Hey Centennial,

Where do you go when you need help?

I bet your answer depends on what kind of help you need and how desperate you are to find it. You might go to a friend or family member, you might go to a professional in a specialized field, you might go to a book for information, or to the internet for ideas. Sometimes, we wait as long as possible before we admit we need help. Other times, we are so overwhelmed we couldn’t possibly ask for or receive help soon enough.

Scripture talks a lot about the kind of help we need, and about the best place to look for it.

The question becomes, have I admitted to myself that I really am in need of help? And, if I haven’t, what am I waiting for?

This Sunday is Easter and I hope you make it a priority to gather with the community of Centennial Covenant to celebrate the joyfully good news of the Jesus’ resurrection!

Take a second and consider whether there is someone you could invite to “Come sit with me” during Easter worship as well.

Worship gatherings will be at their normal times, identical services at 9:00 and 10:30 am.

Grace and peace,

Karl Helvig
Lead Pastor
CENTENNIAL COVENANT CHURCH

P.S. If you meet someone on Easter Sunday who is new to Centennial Covenant, make sure to point them to The Hub in the Welcome Center and give them an invite card to Taste of Centennial, our quarterly meal where we introduce people to the staff, ministries, and culture of CCC.
