Ever wonder where your dollars go when you give to CCC? Here’s a glimpse of the outreach, connection, and transformation you support with every gift.
Centennial Family,
I am thrilled to share some exciting news! Giving for the first nine weeks of this fiscal year, through Sunday, December 1st, is the strongest it has been in over a decade. This is truly cause for celebration!
It’s not uncommon for financial giving to slow down at the start of a new fiscal year, especially as it coincides with the holiday season. However, we ended the last fiscal year with a hopeful note: if the giving trends from the final six months of that year carried into this fiscal year, we would be on track to meet our budget. I’m happy to report that just over two months in, we are indeed right on track!
The purpose of these weekly financial updates is simple. I want to remind us that our financial support for the ministries of this church is more than just writing a check or making a donation. It reflects our shared commitment to join God in His mission to our broken world. As a community, we plan our ministries, seek formation in Christ, serve with love, and fund our ministries together. Participation is the single most significant factor in the financial health of our church, and Centennial has proven to be a place of high participation and consistency in so many ways.
Thank you for being a people of generosity and compassion. Through your giving, you make the Kingdom of God real and present here on earth, just as Jesus taught us to pray it would be.
Here is a snapshot of current giving. This week, it’s presented as a year-over-year comparison of total giving for the first nine weeks of the last five fiscal years. This fiscal year has been exceptionally strong, and for that, I am deeply grateful.
Grace and peace,
Karl Helvig
