Hey Centennial,

This advent, our theme is Unadorned. We’re trying to cut through the distractions and unhelpful clutter that can fill up the Christmas season.  Instead of distracting adornment, we hope to learn the character of God from the story of Christmas.

This Sunday, Jon Hardin is preaching, and he is talking about the biblical truth that God is compassionate. Throughout scripture, we see God aligning himself with the most vulnerable people. Christ himself is one of those vulnerable people not long after birth.

Remember, our Christmas Eve worship gatherings are at 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM. They are identical gatherings and a great opportunity to invite friends and family to come and sit with you.

Grace and peace,

Karl Helvig
