Hey Centennial,
What is the most thrilling experience you have ever had in life?
My favorite Christmas song is, O Holy Night. In that song we hear the line, “A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices.” Something struck me about that line this year. What is thrilling about Christmas? I had an immediate answer to the question, maybe you do too. But, that question led me down some unexpected paths as I studied Matthew’s telling of the Christmas story in preparation for the sermon this Sunday. If you have time, I encourage you to read Matthew 1:18-25 sometime before our worship gatherings this Sunday. I am excited to worship with you. We are going to be considering together:
Life’s greatest thrill, found in the story of Christmas.
Grace and peace,
