Hey Centennial,
It’s the second Sunday in lent and we are continuing to explore this theme: Honest To God. During prayer, we will spend some time thinking about two questions.
Are there any ways I have drifted from God?
What can I do to move closer to him?
Along with the new kids worship space in the Worship Center, four prayer stations have also been created around the edge of the room. These are places where, any time during worship, you can go to be intentionally Honest To God in prayer. I hope you’ll consider this small change in posture to potentially make a big change in your engagement in prayer.
In our information saturated world, life too easily become disintegrated as the deluge of noise scatters our attention.
Prayer is how we fight the disintegration, prayer connects us to our center, God with us.
May we all continue to make Lent a season of stillness, centeredness, and prayer.
