Hello Centennial!
As I type this, we are having a 2nd day of spring-like weather that is starting a truly spring week! Just as flowers and shrubs and trees need water and sun to grow and flourish, our ministry partners need your support! Whether it is living out your faith by mentoring students, feeding elementary kids during their worship time after school, or driving diapers to a new mom whose home all alone, it’s ALL needed for the clients to flourish and the organization to thrive. Please give some thought to giving your time, money and prayers to our ministry partners.

MINISTRY NEWS AND EVENTS
• • •
I want to start off with a BIG BLESSING! Parent Life, our ministry partner that works with teen moms and dads is praising God for the impact on the 43 teen moms, dads, and babies that were mentored this past year! Yea God! Thank you for the mentors, the parents, and most of all thank you for the little babies and toddlers now receiving the impact of Christian love in their lives.
Additionally, in order to finish furnishing ACO House (A Christ Organization) which is the community center for Youth for Christ in Aurora and where Parent Life is housed, there are needed items. Please take a look and see if you can help!
ACO House still needs some essential items. If you have new or lightly used items to donate, please see our needs document for a list of items we require.

Love INC (Love In the Name of Christ)
Love INC has their IMPACT classes going on right now. They have an incredible 100 people either attending classes, teaching classes or volunteering as mentors every Thursday night! Isn’t that awesome! But these folks are HUNGRY to hear the Word and to eat some good old solid food to help them focus on the topics they are learning!
Would your life group be willing to fix a meal on a Thursday night during May or June to feed them? With this number of people to feed, if you would like to reach out to a second life group to assist with the cooking and serving, PLEASE DO! Here are the dates AND the sign-up link with further details:
May 2
May 16
May 23
June 13
June 20
Additionally, if cooking just isn’t your “thing”, or these dates don’t work for you, Love INC has a couple other critical needs:
Need: Drivers for furniture, food, and/or diaper delivery – could you help?
Need: Twenty+ units of metal shelving for the warehouse (72″H x 24″D x 72″W)
Here’s the link to sign up as a volunteer or donate:

The page the volunteer link takes you to has a listing of other volunteer opportunities at Love INC! Take a look! You might see something that will suit your fancy!

The Master’s Apprentice Program
The 3rd session of 2024 begins on Monday, April 29th. Approximately 35 students are signed up for the 6-week course. The big prayer request for this session is for an Assistant Math Coach and additional Woodworking Coaches.
The Math class needing a Coach is from 10:15-11:45 am on Mondays and Wednesdays from April 29 – May 29th. The lead coach is a 52-year teaching veteran from Denver Christian with 10 years of MAP coaching experience. Just assisting him would be an education for his assistant! The class follows a well-designed/defined curriculum to help the students become proficient in construction math.
The Woodworking classes are in the afternoons Mondays – Fridays. Because there are a variety of woodworking coaches, the afternoons would be assigned based on your specific availability. There is a curriculum that is taught to the students as you guide them through several projects: making a birdhouse and a cutting board to help them learn how to use the woodworking tools including the power tools.
Centennial, thank you for your loving support of our metro ministry partners.
