Good afternoon, Centennial! Perhaps you can identify with this: I was smiling walking out of church on Sunday after that fantastic “campfire story” of Ehud, the lefty that Pastor Karl shared with us all! While you are probably chuckling at the memory, I hope you will also realize that he was driving home the point of being memorable in telling stories of God’s faithfulness in your own life.

And that is just what Karl was doing on September 17 when he told the story of how North Littleton Promise was started by some folks at Centennial 20 years ago and how we’ve faithfully continued to support the ministry to the immigrant families in the North Littleton area.

And on September 24, he told the story of the 4 Centennial volunteers who faithfully serve, some for 7 years or more, in the Master’s Apprentice ministry, helping young adults get their lives on track with excellent trade careers.

These organizations are just 2 of our ministry partners. Just as with Love INC, MOPs and Parent Life, they rely on our support: with our hands and brains, with our financial resources, and most importantly of all, with our prayers. Below are some wonderful opportunities to participate in these opps! I hope you will take a quick look and see how you can contribute and create some memorable support with them.

In chronological order of events, we have: Prayer Support Needed, Opportunities to Participate, Meal Support Needed, and Volunteers Needed – please read on!

PRAYER SUPPORT NEEDED

This is the Teen Moms ministry associated with Denver Youth for Christ.  They are in the final stages of renovating their new space for doing their ministry and they are ready for you to come help pray blessings over the facility:

Psalm 127:1-3

“Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain. It is in vain that you rise up early and go late to rest, eating the bread of anxious toil; for he gives to his beloved sheep. BEHOLD, Children are a heritage from the Lord,”

Hello Friends, Family, and Faithful Partners,

We are only weeks away from the grand opening of our Youth Center in Aurora; ACO House (A Christ Operation). I’d like to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for your support thus far but most importantly to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for his faithfulness in finishing the vision and promise he started many years ago. We would like to formally invite you to a time of praise, prayer, and dedication at the youth center. While we are in the final phases of renovation this is an opportune time for us to come together to write the word of God on the walls and floors while we pray over the space and dedicate it back to the Lord. The Denver Area Youth For Christ family could not do this without your support so we are thankful to the Lord for you and your faithfulness to His mission!

Please see below the opportunities to Make your Mark on:

Friday, September 29th from 6:00 pm–8:00 pm
