Approximately one-fourth of the world’s population can only access contaminated drinking water, and roughly half of the world’s population experiences severe water scarcity for at least part of the year Contaminated water can transmit diseases such as cholera, dysentery, typhoid, and polio. Unclean water causes diarrhea resulting in over 1000 deaths daily for children under 5.
Join the Evangelical Covenant Church to walk (or run or roll) 6K with World Vision and celebrate 10 years of partnership through Covenant Kids Congo. No matter where or how you move your feet – in your house, at a park, or through your neighborhood – you’ll join Covenanters around the country to change lives by bringing clean water to those who need it most in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
$50 provides clean water to one person in need!

Why 6K?! Why not 5K? Many women and children in the developing world walk a daily, round-trip average of 6K (3.7mi) to access water.
No intention of running, walking or ambling? Support another member of the Centennial Team or contribute $25 for a student to register themselves or a friend!
Busy on May 18th? NO WORRIES! Registrants are welcome to complete the walk anytime, anywhere on May 18th or earlier. There will be a group run from Centennial, but note…
To stay within local regulations,
REGISTRATION for the GROUP RUN FROM THE CHURCH
on MAY 18 WILL BE LIMITED! Register early!
Visit the table in the lobby of Centennial over the next few weeks for more information, help donating or registering, or to sign up for one of the many volunteer roles! Email questions to GlobalTeamSend@centcov.org
