MEET COLLEEN NAHNYCHUK!
Colleen Nahnychuk is the most recent addition to CCC’s team of global partners. Colleen is from British Columbia, Canada, and serves with the Evangelical Covenant Church in Bariloche, Argentina.
“While I serve the Covenant churches in Argentina, most of the work tends to be in the south in the areas of community development, compassion, developing leaders/Covenant identity, and church administration. This year I look forward to:
- ECC/Merge short-term mission group to Jacobacci
- A new focus on seminary in Argentina with Center for Hispanic Theological Education (CHET)
- Working with the Confraternidad de Iglesias del Pacto Evangélico (CIPE),
- Preparing English classes
I have goals of congregational vitality, continued immersion, and self-sustaining programs for the growth and planting of healthy missional churches within Argentina.”
Colleen asks specifically for Prayer and Connection. “There are no words to express the immensity of this support. To have people praying for us missionaries; to receive a WhatsApp text or email, a word of encouragement, or even sharing about your life and your family – keeps us connected and uplifts us in ways you don’t realize.
Please consider coming to Argentina and spending some time to learn about ministry here, life here, the culture here, the food and the community of family. When you visit a missionary it speaks volumes of support. Merge, the short-term arm of ECC, has new ways to connect your churches with local churches here and it would be a blessing to have you visit!”
Colleen’s birthday is MARCH 4.
Connect with her by sending greetings to

ROY AND MARY LOU GRAHAM
The Grahams serve as spiritual formation missionaries with the Imago Christi community of Novo. With daughter Abby, they are living in Edinburgh, Scotland.
“February 27 will mark the two-year date of arriving in Scotland. So, this trip is a two-year report of sorts aimed at celebrating all the Lord has invited us to in these foundation forming years. Our partnership together has helped many people already and laid the groundwork for much wider impact as the UK learns to follow Christ in a post-church society. We are poised for what we’re calling Phase Two, building on the foundations. I’m eager to share some of what we’ve learned and bring invitation to anyone interested in being a part of what God is up to in a wider, rapidly changing world. I hope some of what we’ve learned thus far may be useful to our home church as they join in mission locally and abroad. There is also a need to deepen and expand our financial support base to carry Phase Two into the next five years.”
Roy is in Colorado February 9–26.
He is eager to meet with CCC folk in small groups, life groups, or one-on-one. His U.S. number is still active and is available through Elexio. You can also send an email to GlobalTeamSend@centcov.org to request his contact information.

GETTING INVOLVED
We believe that there are 6 primary ways to get involved in Global Mission.
Nobody is designed for all, but all of us are designed for at least one.
Learn
There are a lot of resources to help us learn more. Try reaching out to the missionaries we support to learn more about them and contact our Global Team for more resources.
Pray
Prayer and Intercession is one of the most vital ways we can participate in God’s Global Mission. Try “adopting” one of our missionaries and commit to praying for them regularly.
Welcome
With the ease of International travel and communication, we have seen an increase in internationals visiting our country. This is a great opportunity to engage and create life-giving relationships with them. Try visiting an ethnic restaurant that you haven’t been to and get to know the staff or volunteer to host students from other countries.
Send
Giving of our resources is a very effective way of supporting ongoing missions across the world. Try supporting a missionary financially on a monthly basis or being a source of encouragement and support for them.
Mobilize
Advocating for our missionaries and encouraging others to get involved. Try getting involved in CCC’s Global Team.
Go
“Go” is the most traditional understanding of involvement in Global Mission. Try going on a short-term or mid term trip with CCC.
