That’s the opening line from the passage we are looking at this Sunday as we continue studying the Sermon on the Mount, the first and most famous of Jesus’ sermons from Matthew’s gospel.
This Sunday we will celebrate a baby dedication, and our Children’s Pastor, Nicki Nickerson, is preaching. Here’s what she writes about her message:
This Sunday we are continuing our Matthew series and looking at a passage in the Sermon on the Mount on prayer. In this passage, Matthew 7, Jesus talks about three things when it’s comes to our prayer life: ask, seek and knock. As we consider our prayer lives and the way in which approach Jesus, I want us to examine what our heart attitude and posture looks like.
