In case you missed it earlier, here’s an exciting update from our new Global Mission partner, Kari Taracinski:
“This morning ANOTHER $200/month came in for Kari… She’s at 97%!!!!! $990/month of that is from the people of Centennial 🤯🙌”
Do you know what that means? It means that while continuing our strong and steady support of CCC’s general fund, our church family went above and beyond to support Kari. Many of you have expressed a deep connection to her story and her calling—and that’s worth pausing to reflect on.
It teaches us something important about healthy, joyful generosity:
We are most likely to give when we feel personally, emotionally, and relationally connected to the ministries we support.
That’s why we hope to frame giving to the general fund not as supporting an institution, but as investing in a community you are meaningfully part of. And when we introduce local and global mission partners, we’re inviting you to become relationally engaged with ministries that are bearing kingdom fruit.
Following Jesus is a whole-life endeavor—spiritual, emotional, intellectual, relational, and vocational. Every part of who we are is interconnected. And I pray we would see our finances the same way: not as a separate ledger, but as an integral expression of our wholehearted desire to follow Jesus and help build His Kingdom.
This is what Kingdom Abundance looks like—open-handed generosity that overflows beyond our walls. We celebrate the Kingdom wherever it appears!
