Ever wonder where your dollars go when you give to CCC? Here’s a glimpse of the outreach, connection, and transformation you support with every gift.
Centennial family,
Budgets don’t just describe spending; they tell a story. It is a story of values and mission. One of the high values we have always maintained as a church is celebrating and supporting God’s mission both inside and outside our walls. Any time God’s kingdom is built, whether through our shared ministry, or the gifts and passions of others, that’s something to rejoice in. That’s why we continue to give 14% of every dollar given to the church general fund to one of our five local and ten global mission partners. We have given like this when finances are tuff and when giving is strong. In fact, because we give a percentage, whenever general fund giving is above budget, our mission partners receive more, and they receive it first. Fourteen percent comes off the top of every dollar, it’s never the leftovers.
I’d encourage you to take a moment and ask,
What is the story your personal and family finances are telling?
Most likely, there are both some encouraging and potentially discouraging stories in there. No need for shame or worry. Naming reality is always the best place to start moving toward health and growth in any area of life.
Meanwhile, thanks for making CCC part of your shared journey – relationally, financially, and in prayer. Here is a snapshot of our current finances. You will see that they are strong. This means that North Littleton Promise and Masters Apprentice are receiving a larger than normal monthly donation, global mission partners in Colombia, Japan, Poland, and Argentia get a little extra boost. And the ministries of Centennial remain financially strong.
Grace and peace,
Karl
