Ever wonder where your dollars go when you give to CCC? Here’s a glimpse of the outreach, connection, and transformation you support with every gift.

Centennial Family,

What is the fruit of generosity?

There’s no single answer to that question because so many fruits grow from the seeds of generosity. Plant an apple seed, and you will get an apple. Plant generosity, and you can grow every one of the fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. God takes the gifts of our generosity and uses them to bring about reconciliation, healing, nourishment for the hungry, hope for the hopeless, and freedom for those in bondage.

By God’s power, the Holy Spirit transforms even our small acts of giving into great works for His kingdom.

We may not always see the fruit immediately, but we can trust it is growing. In fact, the change God brings is often deeper and more enduring than we realize. That’s because we live in a world that celebrates the big, dramatic gesture—the sudden, visible growth. But true transformation often comes through the small, steady, faithful steps that make the biggest and most lasting impact.

Hans Rosling, author of Factfulness, captures this well:

“Step-by-step, year-by-year, the world is improving, and most people don’t even realize it. The slow and steady progress often goes unnoticed, but it is this consistent effort that has lifted billions out of extreme poverty, reduced child mortality, and expanded education worldwide.”

What Rosling demonstrates with data regarding global public health, we know to be even more true in God’s kingdom. Small, faithful acts of generosity—day by day, year by year—are used by God to bring about transformational change.

At Centennial Covenant Church, we’ve been sowing these seeds of generosity for decades, and we remain committed to this work for decades to come. Through partnerships with local and global organizations, forming community with those new to Jesus, and walking alongside long-time disciples, we’ve seen God healing lives, restoring relationships, and strengthening communities.

As we move forward, I believe God will continue using our faithfulness to bring about healing and restoration—not just for individuals, but for relationships and communities. My prayer is that our church becomes known as a place where relationships are healed, where people find reconciliation, and where the love of God is tangibly experienced. That has been true, may it grow ever more as the fruit of our faithfulness to God and generosity with all we give.

Thank you for the seeds you sow and for joining in this work of the kingdom.

With gratitude,

Karl
