Ever wonder where your dollars go when you give to CCC? Here’s a glimpse of the outreach, connection, and transformation you support with every gift.

Centennial family,

This Sunday is Week 3 of our sermon series, Shift: Moving Prayer to the Center. We’ve explored how Prayer is Power and Prayer is Curiosity. This week, we’re looking at another angle:

Prayer is Courage.

Here’s the question that struck me: When you think about your finances—specifically, the way you handle your finances, your day-to-day decisions, actions, and plans —

Would you say you handle your finances courageously?

If prayer fills us with God’s power so that we’re able to stand firm with courage in all of life’s challenges,

What would that look like when it comes to our money?

I’m not sure I know the full answer. But I’d bet it would look like joyful generosity. It would look like God’s kingdom being our priority. I’m asking the question because I hope that, among all the things we seek God’s power and courage for, our finances would be one of them.

If you’d like a deeper dive into the current finances of our church, here’s a snapshot that compares total general fund giving month-by-month between last fiscal year and this one. The leadership of CCC continues to be grateful that we are in such a strong financial position, may that continue! As a quick reminder, here’s a simple breakdown of how every dollar given to the CCC General Fund is spent:

Global and Local Missions: 14%

Staff: 59.4%

Facilities: 14.1%

Ministry Resources: 12.5%

Thank you for your generous support of CCC’s ministries through your financial gifts, your time and energy, and your prayers!

Grace and peace,

Karl
