This Sunday, former CCC Lead Pastor Steve Thulson leads us into yet another strange story from the Old Testament book of Judges (chapters 17-18). This one reflects a vulnerability for all of us. We easily drift into letting any good gift displace the Best, the one Giver of all good. The Good News is this: the Giver relentlessly shows and gives himself in order to displace our seemingly good but life-draining “idols.” On Sunday we’ll explore together how that happens.
