Ever wonder where your dollars go when you give to CCC? Here’s a glimpse of the outreach, connection, and transformation you support with every gift.
Centennial Family,
December is obviously a time when all sorts of organizations talk to you about end of year giving. And it’s not just end of year giving, people are also talking about end of life giving. Bequests, estate planning, charitable trusts, and all the rest. This is all worthwhile thinking. Yet, it can also be overwhelming. Here is the theme that, as far as I can tell, should be a thread to unite it all. How are we building Christ’s kingdom with everything we have? Whether we are thinking about planning our estate for after we die or planning our budget for the month right in front of us, God would have us think about generosity, community, and his kingdom as the guiding themes. Here is my simple hope as you enter another season of Advent,
Will you seek to build the Kingdom of Christ, the righteousness of God, and the way of a humble savior with all that you have this Advent season?
I pray we will all make that our priority in the weeks and months ahead.
As always, a percentage of all you give to the general fund of CCC is given forward to our global and local mission partners. We as a church do what we hope all of us as individuals would do as well.
Here is a snapshot of our current financial situation.
Grace and peace,
Karl Helvig,
Lead Pastor, Centennial Covenant Church
