After last week’s look at Samson’s life, perhaps it comes as a surprise that he is specifically mentioned in Hebrews chapter eleven as a “hero of the faith”. How is this possible? This week we will need to dig a little deeper into the cultural context, mindset and geography of the time in order to make sense of Hebrews 11.
