SAVE THE DATE:

Congregational Meeting Sunday September 24th, immediately after worship.

This meeting is to discuss and vote on the 2023-2024 proposed budget. More information will come from the Council in an email next week.

Hey Centennial,

This Sunday is a big Sunday. We kick off fall formation opportunities with Connecting Hour Classes and The Growth Challenge. (It’s not too late to register, The Growth Challenge will not be offered again until next fall!).

Here are the opportunities:

And the Café will be open from 8:30am until 10:05am, so you can order a drink to bring to class!

But that isn’t all, we also kick off a new sermon series that will last through the Fall. We are preaching through the book of Judges.

Wait, we’re preaching through Judges, what’s even in that book?

I know, it’s not one of the most familiar books of the Bible. And it has some of the strangest stories to be found in scripture. Actually, some are more than strange, they’re uncomfortable and confusing. Which is why we are calling this sermon series,

God Did What? A Study of the Book of Judges.

If you have ever had questions about the complicated and uncomfortable parts of scripture, this sermons series is one you won’t want to miss.

Eager to worship with you Sunday.

Grace and Peace,

Karl Helvig
Lead Pastor
CENTENNIAL COVENANT CHURCH

P.S. Remember, this Sunday is also our new Sunday worship schedule. Classes begin at 8:45 and our single worship gathering is at 10:00am. There will be classes for children of all ages in their usual rooms, Middle School students in the Middle School Room, High School students meeting in the café, and adult classes as noted above.

P.P.S. If you are looking for ways to grow outside of Sunday morning, two of our ministry partners also have new opportunities kicking off soon. Community Bible Study begins Monday evening and the Love I.N.C. IMPACT classes begin later this month. Check them out Impact Classes and Community Bible Study Information.
